Social Media – Better Than Google
Posted by: | CommentsI just viewed a timely video done by Mike Klingler of the Renegade Professional. In the video Mike provides some valuable training on how to attract business with social media sites and social marketing. This is the way to build a solid online business and online business presence.
Social media are places on the web where you can socialize and interact with others. These places include YouTube, Squidoo, HubPages, Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, ezine articles, and blogs to name a few.
Social marketing is marketing at these social media sites. This is highly effective because you can talk about things that your target market would be interested in. Depending upon the site, this is real time or near real time.
Web 2.0 is the so-called 2nd generation of the internet. What distinguishes it from the first generation is that the progression of web technologies has made it easier for people to get on the internet and interact. It’s not just for techies and geeks. It is much more accessible and much more mainstream.
What you want to do is to get in front of the trend. There is a massive movement going on and not everyone is aware of it. If you are not part of it, it will pass you by and your business will suffer and/or die. Web 2.0 has brought us all back to 1996 when the internet was the wild, wild, west, a new frontier where anybody willing to be a pioneer had an opportunity for unheard of riches. And that’s where we are now, if you take advantage of the changes going on in the internet and the economy.
Squidoo is up to 4.8M visitors per month as of January 2009. YouTube is up to 84.8M visitors per month. Facebook is up to 50.5M visitors per month and over 100,000 people sign up for Facebook every day. That’s every day! The number of users at these social media sites doubles every 6 months. This is incredible growth that you can tap into if you know how.
With social media, you can attract leads and sales easily. The demographics of social media users is important. Social media people make more (20% more) and spend more (25% more) than the rest of the people. These are the people that you want to target.

This is from Retwigger which reports on the most retweeted tweets on Twitter. The Twitter retweet (resending a Twitter message to all your followers) was the single most retweeted message on all of Twitter, surpassing a retweet by Google (and also Guy Kawasaki who is an internet guru). I guess Ann and Mike are the real gurus!

Network Marketers – Providing Value and Getting Paid For Your Time (video)

New school network marketers are no longer pushy sales people whose only goal is to recruit, recruit, and recruit some more. With the attraction marketing model, network marketers lead by providing value first and provide solutions.
Providing value to the prospect comes first. And because we provide that real value, we no longer have to subscribe to the idea that network marketers can’t charge for training. Ann Sieg has just released a video where she interviews Mike Klingler. (If you were unaware, these two giants of internet network marketing are joining up to create the most comprehensive training system in this field, Renegade Professional.)
In the video, Mike explains how attraction marketing changes the whole game for you, the network marketer. If you don’t enjoy being the pushy, overly-assertive sales person and this makes you feel like you are not being yourself, what Mike teaches is for you. Ann Sieg is making waves again.
She just released a new video where she interviews veteran network marketer Mike Klingler.
In this video, she gets Mike to reveal some amazing secrets. [I have worked alongside Mike for the last half year as one of his Super Guides at the Renegade Professional and there was a whole lot of stuff I didn’t know about Mike. Mike is just a humble guy.]
